Convert Your Lifeline AED for Classroom Training

The Defibtech Lifeline Training Battery Pack (DCF-DBP-RC2) allows you to utilize your live emergency AED for CPR and first-aid certification courses. When you insert this distinctive Red Battery Pack into the unit, the AED recognizes it is in “Training Mode” and automatically disables the high-voltage capacitor.

This allows students, schools, and corporate safety teams to practice pad placement and safe AED operation without any risk of accidental shock delivery. It is also the standard replacement battery pack for the standalone Defibtech Lifeline Trainer (DDU-100TR).

Economical 9-Volt Training Design

Unlike live rescue batteries, this reusable training pack is powered by a standard, replaceable 9-Volt Alkaline Battery (the common square household battery). This makes running frequent CPR certification classes extremely affordable with zero drain on expensive emergency hardware.

How to Install & Operate the Training Pack

1. Remove the yellow live rescue battery (DCF-200 / DBP-1400) or 7-year battery (DCF-210) from your AED.
2. Insert a fresh 9V alkaline battery into the slot on the side of this Red Training Pack.
3. Slide the Red Training Pack into the AED’s rear battery compartment until it clicks firmly into place.
4. The AED will automatically power on in safe “Training Mode” with full voice coaching prompts and disabled shock circuitry.

• Compatible Defibrillators: Defibtech Lifeline AED (DDU-100 series), Lifeline AUTO (DDU-120 series), and standalone Lifeline Trainer (DDU-100TR).
• Training Electrodes: Pairs with reusable Defibtech adult and pediatric training pads.
• Scenario Cards: Compatible with Defibtech Training Software Cards (DTP-100) for custom emergency drills.
