Designed ONLY for Lifeline VIEW, PRO, and ECG Models

This battery pack is built specifically for Defibtech AEDs that feature a full-color digital video screen (the Lifeline VIEW, PRO, and ECG models). It will not fit the standard yellow Defibtech Lifeline models. If your AED does not have a video screen on the front, you have the wrong battery. You will need the standard DBP-1400 battery instead.

💡 AEDLand Pro-Tip:

After installing your new DCF-2003 battery, the Lifeline VIEW screen will turn on and run a self-test. Do not turn the unit off immediately. Wait for the unit to ask for pads, then check the Active Status Indicator in the corner. It must be flashing GREEN to confirm it is rescue-ready.

How to Check Your Defibtech Lifeline VIEW Battery Level

You never have to guess if your battery is ready for an emergency. If the unit is fully operational, the indicator light next to the On/Off button will flash green. To check the exact battery status, simply press the center button below the screen to wake the unit up. The digital screen will clearly display your remaining battery life and confirm that the AED has passed its automatic self-tests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between DCF-2003 and DBP-2003?
A: There is no difference! DCF-2003 is the internal part number on the label. DBP-2003 is the model number on the box. They are identical.

Q: Will this battery fit the original Defibtech Lifeline (DDU-100)?
A: NO. This battery fits only the Lifeline VIEW, PRO, and ECG models. If you have the original Lifeline, you need the DBP-1400 Battery.

Q: Why is my Defibtech AED beeping?
A: If your unit is chirping and flashing Red, the battery is likely low. Installing a new DCF-2003 will resolve the error and return the status to Green.

Q: Where can I find the expiration date?
A: Defibtech batteries have a “Install By” date printed on the label. Once installed, the battery has a standby life of 4 years. We guarantee all our inventory is factory-fresh.
