A: No. The Defibtech battery (DCF-2003) is powerful enough to support the video screen and still deliver up to 125 shocks or 4 years of standby time.
Q: Can I use this on a child?
A: Yes! You can purchase optional Pediatric Pads. When plugged in, the video screen automatically switches to show specific child placement instructions.
Q: Is this hard to maintain?
A: Not at all. The screen displays the status 24/7. If everything is OK, you see a flashing “OK” symbol. If the battery is low, the screen will tell you.
